HS Coach’s
“Matt is a very talented student-athlete who understands the game very well. He values the importance of hard work, respect for the game, and being a great teammate. He has a very bright future in baseball and in life” MC Varsity Pitching Coach John Di Filippo.
FV Royals Coach’s
Two way player. Matt is very good solid RH starter and his future on the mound is could be very bright. Matt has a good arm and throws three pitches for strikes, has a plus slider and a good feel for his change-up. Also has developed a split that has turned into an out pitch for him as well. Has a good work ethic and takes his throwing program serious and always looks to improve. FB hovers around 83-86 and has shown 87 on the top end so far this year. Will continue to develop and has a nice ceiling—that along with his competitive fire on the mound give him a plus upside.   –Andy Bisceglia 6/2/11
